About The Event
Boost your HQ (Happiness Quotient) 3-Day Retreat
Increase happiness by creating physical, emotional and energetic balance. Join us for a respite to life’s challenges, rejuvenate and develop tools to create a more joyful, less stressful life. This intimate, low-key retreat is limited to 12 participants.
This weekend is for you if: you feel like there’s more to life but you can’t see through the current situation; you feel that stress is keeping you from enjoying your life, performing well at work or leading a healthy life free of pain and dis-ease; you need a break from daily challenges and demands and want to learn more about yourself and how to listen to your intuitive guidance.
What you’ll come away with :
~a greater awareness of who you are, what you want out of life and how to get it
~the ability to more successfully manage your stress and live in a more mindful way, allowing for more joy on a daily basis
~an expansion of your creativity and self-expression
~a plan for achieving balance in your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly schedule
How you’ll achieve it :
~guided imagery and meditation, and mindfulness exercises you can add to your own toolbox
~simple art projects (for artists and non-artists alike, though you’ll become aware that we’re all artists!) for self-awareness and positivity
~journaling time, both structured and on your own
~fun writing exercises for fostering creativity and self-awareness
~kundalini yoga and sound healing with crystal bowls and gongs
~chakra balancing exercise and breath work
~easy hike(s) along the Deschutes river from the property
~discussion about using medicinal herbs for creating satisfying meals
*note: all classes are optional. If you’re not comfortable with hikes or yoga or any other sessions, you may wander around the property, read, journal or otherwise enjoy your own time.
Friday, October 26th, 5:30pm (check/settle in and socialize 4:30-5:30) till Sunday 28th, 2:30pm.

Rooms at the retreat center are first come first served. When space fills, rooms may be reserved nearby at Eagle Crest
Healthy meals provided: Friday dinner, Saturday smoothies, snacks, brunch and dinner, Sunday smoothies, snacks, and brunch.
What to bring:
If you have a special journal you would like to use, feel free to bring it along. Simple ones will be provided if you choose. Feel free to bring a favorite cushion or blanket for sitting on the floor (chairs are available if you prefer); cushions and blankets will be provided if you don’t bring one. If you have a yoga mat and can bring it, please do. Bring a water bottle and appropriate clothing, based upon current weather, for hiking and/or wandering the property. Bring a book if you’d like the opportunity to read during free time. Feel free to bring favorite snacks, though many will be provided.

Tammy Goen has been helping people heal and find more joy in their lives for over 25 years. She loves to help others to see things from a different viewpoint, to help them reach their own “Aha” moments and create shifts that will move them forward toward healthier, more joyful lives. Offering guidance through life and wellness coaching, CranioSacral Therapy and EFT (Tapping), she facilitates reduction in pain, stress and limiting thoughts and habits, and increase in self-awareness and overcoming obstacles to the lives people truly wish to live.
